King of the Hill Card Trick
Difficulity Level - Super Easy.
This is a good starter trick for kids or absolute beginners.
How the trick appears:
4 Kings Magically appear on top of four piles of cards.
How the trick works:
Preparation: Before you start the trick place the four Kings on
top of the deck.
1. Explain to your audience that this is a special deck of cards, and that
Kings are in charge.
2. Start by making four piles: take about one-fourth the deck from the bottom, and set it on the table.
3. Take another quarter from the bottom, and set it to the right of those.
4. The third quarter goes to the right of the two piles.
5. The fourth with the rest of the cards goes to the far right.
6. From the pile at far LEFT, place the top three cards on the bottom of the pile, then deal one card to each of the other three piles.
7. Repeat this with each pile, moving from left to right.
8. Point to each pile and say "King of the Hill." Turn each top card face up, to show that the Kings have magically come to the top.
